KANDANGAN, narasipublik.net – Bupati Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Selatan (HSS), Achmad Fikry pimpin apel kesiapsiagaan penanggulangan bencana Kebakaran Hutan dan Lahan (Karhutla), Senin (15/03/2021).
Dalam kegiatan yang dilaksanakan di lapangan Lambung Mangkurat, Kota Kandangan tersebut, Bupati HSS mengajak seluruh masyarakat untuk ikut membantu mencegah timbulnya potensi Karhutla.
“Untuk menangani karhutla diperlukan sinergitas dari semua pihak, dari pemerintah daerah, TNI-Polri hingga masyarakat,” ucap Bupati Achmad Fikry.
Guna efektivitas pencegahan yang maksimal, Bupati Kabupaten HSS juga meminta semua camat untuk melakukan pemetaan terhadap potensi Karhutla diwilayahnya masing-masing.
“Dengan adanya data tahun lalu dapat menjadi gambaran dalam upaya pencegahan potensi terjadinya karhutla disetiap kecamatan,” terangnya.
Sementara itu, pemerintah Kabupaten HSS juga mengharapkan seluruh satgas di 144 desa dan 4 kelurahan dapat bersama-masa menangani karhutla dengan cepat.
“Jika muncul titik api segera langsung padamkan jangan menunggu pihak kabupaten, agar api tidak membesar,” ujarnya.
Tidak hanya itu, Bupati Achmad Fikry juga meminta masyarakat untuk mengurangi potensi Karhutla dengan cara tidak membakar lahan saat musim kemarau.
“Membuka lahan dengan cara dibakar itu dilarang undang-undang dan bisa ditindak tegas oleh aparat kepolisian,” pungkasnya. (Irf)
